Medicare Advantage Plans Provide Flexibility
Many seniors belong to inadequate health insurance plans that do not meet all their needs fully, but Medicare Advantage plans provide seniors with the freedom to choose which medical services receive a priority. Medicare Advantage, which was previously known as ‘Medicare Part C’, is an offering which enables participants to choose benefit packages provided by private insurance companies instead of Medicare’s standard benefit package. There are many different plans provided by well-known insurance companies.
Cover Included in Medicare Advantage Plans
Cover for various different health services are included in Medicare plans – some plans include cover for prescription drugs, while members may also add a separate prescription plan to their existing Medicare plan. In order to join a Medicare Advantage plan, you must subscribe to Medicare Part A and B. Some MA insurance plans require additional monthly premiums for extra added services, while others are provided at no extra premium, since they offer equal cover to the original Medicare benefit package.
