There are three plans available for California residents.
- HSA – This is a Health Savings Account plan that lets you save money for medical expenses. It is tax-free and earns interest – and it will carry over to the next year if you do not spend it.
- HIA – This is a Health Incentive Account plan that is funded by Blue Cross when you participate in wellness programs.
- HIA Plus – This is a Health Incentive Account Plus plan that is also funded by Blue Cross for participation in wellness programs – but Blue Cross also adds an additional $500/year for individuals or $1000/year for families to the account.
